"300" & the hidden message

At first look, the movie 300 seems like a great movie inspired by historical events,but if you look deeper and read between the lines "300" is more than just a movie, it's a political message.You still don't believe me ? OK, let me explain more:the movie is about 300 spartan soldiers(from Sparta in Greece)who stood against thousands of Persian (farsi) soldiers equipped with all weapons available at that time in history.The movie depicts the persians as savage,rude,stupid and coward,and their king as gay( I can't believe that did that) while the spartans are shown as smart,courageous,and very masculine and their king as the greatest warrior I have ever seen.The persians represent the East(or the Orient if you will) while the spartans represent the West with all its "good values".The movie 300 got a very harsh criticism from the Iranian government which said that the movie is unacceptable.If you saw the movie,what do you think?

Who made the movie ?
It got normal to see movies where arabs are shown as savages,more or less in a subtile way.

So the list of these movies is endless, and if there's one film who's just turning the whole thing upside down, like "Valley of the wolves",a turkish film who shows war from another perspective, for example here in germany most news-papers criticised the film hardly for it's agitating plot.
But when a film like "collateral damage" or other similar rubbish starts in the cinemas, people say NOTHING cause they'Re just used to it, thats the only difference...
